About MoreAmore Ceramics

Behind MoreAmore is me – Elena. I’ve been working with clay for more than four years, almost every day in my studio in Tallinn at Telliskivi Loomelinnak, called Helge Kodu. For a long time, I didn’t have my own brand. I was still learning, teaching workshops, and waiting for the right moment – dreaming of finding it.

That moment came on April 30th 2024 in Sicily. My family and I were on a road trip from Naples to Sicily. Late at night, we arrived at a small house we had booked just for one night. We couldn’t see much outside until the morning, when I stepped into the garden. There, among olive trees and terraces, stood a big old closet. Curious, I peeked behind it—and discovered an outdoor pottery studio: a kiln, a large wooden table, clay, and ceramic sculptures scattered everywhere.

The owner had never mentioned it, but I immediately asked for permission to use some clay. When I sat down at that table, with the Sicilian sun, cats wandering around, and a glass of wine nearby, I felt it—something new was born. I extended our stay, and the next day, MoreAmore Ceramics came to life.

From that moment, I knew my style would always stay earthy and warm, touched by the Mediterranean – shaped by sand, sea, and organic textures. That is the soul of MoreAmore.
